About Us

Reviving 100 Years of Lost Tenun Tidore

The Puta Dino Kayangan cultural movement is a collaborative effort involving various parties, including schools, the Soa Sio detention center, and the Indonesian Fiber Council (DSI), which has facilitated partnerships with small businesses producing eri, ramie, and brownis threads. Initiated by Tidore's youth aged 18–30, inmates, high school students, and rural communities, this movement goes beyond simply weaving fabric—it is about weaving the future, identity, and the hopes of a nation.
